When There is a History
And You Are Barefooted

There must be such a thing
As Levitation
A displacement, properly labeled
Like the London Bridge in passage
To Arizona

But molecules and atoms
Don’t mean tons of displacement
Or arriving by ships
Or passports or visas

Arrival means studying
the molecular intricacies
Of all that is questioned
Complete with molecular exchanges
Stored on your hard drive
Before a return to one’s inevitable
Soul of Creativity.
