Creswell Crag Horse
A few scratches on a piece of bone
but somehow the equine spirit.
And still I can’t help but wonder
whether it may have been chance,
and we’re the first to see it.
Or maybe it was commonplace,
and this is all that's survived,
over many cultures and millennia removed.
If you have any comments on this poem, Tristan Moss would
be pleased to hear from you.
