Every victory, conquest, achievement, success.
Of those, there are some I recall.
Every failure, rejection, debacle, defeat.
Iíll forever remember them all.
If you see fit to criticize
What I may say or do,
Iíll listen most respectfully
And mull your point of view.
But if that contemplation leads
To no epiphany,
The most that I can do is just
Too busy for thank-yous, correctness, responses
Too busy for patience, fulfillment, or promptness
Too busy to function without gross abuses
But never too busy to offer excuses.
If you have any thoughts on these epigrams, Russel Winick
would be pleased to hear them.
