Aubade

I hate to wake you.
So I let you sleep.
The dawn is a reddish hue.
You are in a deep dream.

So I let you sleep.
The sun and the moon fight.
You are in a deep dream that wakes
like a cloud breaks into light.

The sun and the moon fight.
You don’t see me.
You are like a cloud that breaks
into light. The sun spreads over the day

like the blue sea. You don’t see me.
The dawn is a reddish hue.
The sun spreads over the day.
I hate to wake you.
