My Funeral

Wrapped in The Scotsman,
the family hamster

in a Saxone shoe box
four feet under;

a suburban witch digging
in the mid of the winter

with a string-tied parcel
whose shape is familiar;

a dead-weight coffin
dropped into a merchant sea.

Will I bury my mother?
Will my mother bury me?
